Ask yourself, what was the religious climate of Europe when these groups came to settle in the new colonies?

What were these groups like? What made them different from other religious groups in Europe at that time?

What were the economic situations in Europe? Why were the new colonies explored and colonized by anyone?

Sheesh! Your spelling!
Quakers were very different, believing in public nudity, having sexual relations with any person of the opposite sex...
Whereas the Puritans (Pilgrims, other names) believed in the Bible, as opposed to what the Priests of the official church preached (Catholic Church).
The Pilgrims were tortured, raped, murdered, imprisoned (more like a livestock pen) without food or water or shelter --- many died from exposure. They had their lands and properties seized. Because of all this, they escaped, first to the Netherlands, but they did not want their children to grow up speaking Dutch and living as the Netherlanders did, so, they appealed once again to the King and after much hassles, were permitted to "remove to Northern Virginia", landing in Massachusetts. They worked hard and diligently, paying off their usurious loan.
So, basically, (a).
