There are many different versions and details to the story of how Pandora opened the box/jar, but I've never heard anyone talk about what happened to Pandora afterwards. Was she sent to Hades? Did she live out a normal life (plus suffering) afterwards on Earth?

Pandora had a daughter named Pyrrha who married Deucalion the son of Prometheus.

Just after they were married Zeus sent the Great Deluge which wiped out the whole of mankind. Only Deucalion and Pyrrha survived, floating to the safety of Mount Parnassus in a chest.

Pandora would have died like everyone else in the Deluge (since the only woman to survive it was her daughter).

She lived out a normal life and gave birth to Pyrrha the mother of the race of man. The myth of Pandora and her jar is the greek version of eve and the apple.

Because Pandora also released HOPE when all the evil things came out of the box, it is led to believe that hope saved her and she lived out a decent life as the goddess of hope.
