I've just had an electrician in and he's drilled holes through my walls, bricks and cement. There is dust EVERYWHERE in the house, what would be the quickest way to remove it? I don't know where to start. (I have laminate flooring and carpets and all my walls are papered)

A good vacuum for the carpets , a mop and use cold water this will lift a lot of dust from the floors. A damp cloth will help collect dust from furniture, and look for little dusters called, Spontex duster wipes . These little duster wipes will cut your cleaning time in half A feather duster for the walls, Try and clean one room at a time , once it´s clean keep the door closed and lay a towel along the bottom of the door . This will keep the out the dust, slowly slowly is the answer .

MMMM...If the dust is everywhere change your furnace/AC filter... If you have a shopvac w/ attachments I would try and use it on all the walled surfaces/furniture. Vacuum everyday and clean your vac. filters... Use a microfiber dustmop on the floors and wash the pad daily or rinse it daily.. Try to use microfiber dust clothes INSTEAD of sprays.. Sprays will just attract dust to the surfaces you've already cleaned... Start at the highest points of the rooms and work your way down to the floors.... good luck

call his company to have a cleaning company come out and take care of it. You did not make the mess so you shouldn't have to clean it up. That is poor service.
