I am a psychic myself but I would like to learn more about it.
I want to know how you became a psychic or if you were just born that way. What sort of things did you do to become more insightful?

I am psychic ....to the non-believers !we do exist! I am getting so in touch with who i am i can shock you with accuracy.
When i was young , i almost died from sepsis.During that time an angel was coming to me in my dreams.I thought it was just a dream.It wasnt ,the inner voice saved my life.It started as dreams....i have opened my mind up at night to receive information by allowing it in.I concentrate on what i want to know and i dream correct answers.When i was younger i would have feelings about things , i kept them to myself.As i got older i allowed people to know what i was feeling and i was right.Part of being a new psychic is not doubting the feelings or thoughts you are having.If you are psychic you know its real.Open your mind , relaxing and allowing it to flow.Practice awake by thinking of a question and picture both answers in your mind .Start with yes or no responses.Concentrate on which one is correct.You will have a feeling or just know.Ask yourself questions to practice with that you already know , the answers to.
Picture how the truth looks in your mind.Now that i can help people communicate with animals and tell others things about themselves they have told no one , i am practicing further to take donations and help others.If you wanna chat im on messenger !This ability runs down through generations so it may be in your family. I never read anything about this ability i have taught myself.I hope i have helped you.

I agree, I believe we all have a 6th sense of sorts, just some people are naturally more in touch with it then others. To the disbelievers on this post, you may have a point with some scammer "psychics" who obviously fake it all, but I don't think that's what she's talking about, so quit your yakking!
Anyway, an excelent book to get is "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Being Psychic". It may sound like a book for desperate people, but the author is really realistic with it all and she has some excelent advice. I could give you some advice( I like what the person above me has to say), but I would REALLY recommend reading that book, it'll give you a much more in depth and personal way of getting in touch with your psychic side.

I think that as I age, things just come to me better.
Some people also say that to better bring about psychic happenings, one needs to stay clear of all alcohol, all drugs, and cigarettes.
Personally, I drink on the weekends but don't do drugs, and I quit smoking 4 months ago. I don't see a difference since I quit smoking.
Meditation is recommended, and it does help. Get in touch with your inner self.
Use your abilities as much as possible. Not just, "Hey, there goes a spirit". But explore that spirit. Try to communicate with it. Working your ability will make it stronger.
Go on Yahoo Answers, and under the Horoscope section, some people post questions for psychics. Answer some. Even if your wrong, its okay, no one except God is perfect.

Not sure how Soda Pop is answering your question unless you know him lol! Anyway I believe we all have a 6th sense only some of us know how to use it. I believe I have a little esp example: I can be thinking of something and it will happen in a round about way. I have had death dreams that have come true even if the person had not been sick. Good question I would like to know the answer to your question also.

Well you are looking at opening Pandora's box. I suggest that you find a book called Trade craft. You might want to be careful with what you do with it. Its referred to as cold reading. Oh my god did I just say that there is no such thing as a psychic. I did.
