I remember the moment that I finally learned how to walk. I walked from my mother to my grandfather, a distance of about five feet, but it seemed like forever to me at that age.

Yes, I do remember bits of my very last incarnation. I was born into this life in 1978, but I remember a former life that ended in either 1976 or 1977. I remember living in an apartment in a large city. I remember the layout of the apartment. I remember having a male lover (funny, I don't remember if I was a male of female, however). I remember seeing the very first episode of Saturday Night Live and thinking at the time that it was stupid. But I watched every episode when I was sick with a cold, though I found it to be ridiculous. (in this life, I like the show...funny, a show continues to run through 2 of my lives...how often does a show run longer than 10 years?...I am now 29, SNL has been on since, what, 1975?). I remember leaving the apartment during a visit with guests, and I think I died at some point after that.

I remember as a child about 3 or 4 years old, my mother playing the piano and singing for me standing beside her and never wanting her to stop! When I think of that tears are coming up because she is no longer here. That is the strongest memory that comes to me.
P.S.

I do believe in past lives and reincarnation, but that is another matter. I've had that kind of experiences too, but too long to write here. Besides, that's not the question you are asking first.

Have a beautiful day.

When I was about three years old my family would often visit my fathers parents at their home.My grandparents lived only two city blocks away from our house and it was on the same street. My first memory as a child was that of being held and rocked in my grandfathers old rocking chair. He was a big overweight man who worked far too hard. He had this big overstuffed rocking chair that was positioned at the best location in their living room.He always wore clean coveralls and he smelled nice.He was loud and funny and he would bounce me on his knees like a pony ride.He would lift up my shirt and blow on my belly to make sounds that would remind a person of what flatulence sounds like. That tickled and it made me laugh. I remember how he made me feel though I was unable to verbalize it at that age. I felt totally loved and safe and happy when grandpa held me on his knees.

I remember standing up and walking at 7 months. Everyone was excited and surprised and they were holding out their hands. I had on white, hard soled baby shoes and a little blue dress. I guess I was in a hurry to go somewhere. C. :)!!

I painted my mother's new couch with water colors. I still remember her response. I was two. All across the front of the couch too. I do not remember what the picture was intended to be.

In retrospect, having seen pictures of the print on the couch, I was improving it anyway. I cannot imagine what she was thinking, but it was the sixties.
