Our parents can book the hotel and everything. But me and a couple of friends are traveling to las vegas next weekend and we are trying to find a hotel that we can check into without our parents.

You are going to find that the hotels in Vegas are going to ask to see ID that matches the person making the reservation.

Legally they can not rent a room to a 17 year old. You are not old enough to make a legal contract.

There is a chance that you can hit some of the little dive hotels off strip with cash and you might get in but I doubt it. Anything that takes a reservation is not going to let you in.

There are some dive's on Boulder Hwy and on Fremont street east of down town but I don't suggest staying at those places for your own safety.

There are some resorts that will rent to 18YO, but you must have a CC or debit card & ID.

The Las Vegas Hostel would be your best bet, and probably more fun for you anyway.

Another option might be to camp out at Mt. Charleston, Toiyabe National Forest which is 35 miles North of Las Vegas.

Sorry, I don't think you'll have any luck. For one thing you are a minor and can't enter into a business contract (renting a room). I wonder why would your parents allow you to go to Vegas alone.

As another said, curfew is very strictly enforced you won't find anything to do.

you are too young. there is a curfew in Vegas that is strictly enforced, you cant go in any casino. what parents would send thier 17 year old to Vegas? not very repsonsible are they. Why dont you go to Disneyland where kids belong. Vegas is for adults. You will grow up soon enough, dont rush it.....you will regret it later. I remember 17, i thought I knew everything.....believe me bud, you dont know jack shhit, but you will learn. Go to a lake or go camping.
