i am 14 and i dont have my period yet! every one of my friends does and my mom got it when she was 13. should i be worried???

i dont think u need to be worried at all...just cuz ur mom got it at 13 doesnt mean u have to too....i kno someone hoo got their period at 17.....dont worry about it....it'll come eventually...and u should kno that when u do get it {which u probably will soon} u'll wish that u never had it..:]

No u shouldnt be worried, some gurls dont get it till they are like 16. but after 16, you may wanna see a gyno if u havent got it yet. but dont worry!! it will come!!! Jus be patient, cuz when u get it, you will wish you would have enjoyed the time you didnt have it, more. SO enjoy the time u have left without it!!

Don't worry to much. It will happen when the time is right and your body is ready. Not everyone starts at the same time. Do you play a lot of sports? Sometimes extreme amounts of exercise can put a period on hold.

No. Relax some girls do not get their periods till they are 16. If you haven't got it by then and no other puberty signs you might want to see a doctor. However if you are very athletic or thin it may also be the cause of why you haven't gotten yours yet.

Don't worry your period can start between about 9 and 18 i had that worry this year then i got my period trust me it's nothing great so be happy that you dont have it,you can go onto Kotex or Always sites for advice...=)

No you shouldnt be worried this is completely normal. my friends mom didnt get hers till she was in high school! so just wait it'll come. So dont be worried.
Another thing is tht you can talk to your mom about it...and see if that'll help...

i have a really close friend whos 15 and still doesnt have her period, and her mom got hers in the 5th grade!!!
big defference.
but seriously dont worry! i know you prly get this alot but you dont want it, its a pain in the a**

My mom got hers at 15. My teacher also.
And I believe my grandma got hers at 16.
I dint know what to tell you after that
but don't worry it'll come eventually.
just be glad you don't have it now.

no i didnt get mine until 15. It is perfectly normal to not start menstruating until 15,16.
everything happens in Gods perfect time.
