Hi John.

I'm confused...seriously...lol

I have started to think about something — and then forgot what I was thinking before that.

But, have I ever stopped to think...and forgot to start again — start what again??

You have given me something to think about — I think.

Where was I?

Let me think....

A big Yes. This worker/slave/ lol like everybody else has learned to multitask, multithink, multi-do, and still keep a consciousness of surroundings etc. Its when one part of this juggling gets an unexpected total complete focus, I lose sight of the others ======
"where was I?" and "Oh darn" and "O $#it grrr."
Lets do this one all over again.
Other times is when completely relaxed, listening to music, being aware of the flutes, the violins, etc, and someone whispers a question. Your mind takes the question , then drops it completely.
So you say" What was that again?"

Not while driving.
The aim is to think and drive at the same time.
Either on its own is disastrous.

But I have thought and thought about a detail of a conversation, or pursued a thread off to a tangent,
to the point that the others involved considered I'd totally lost the plot.
I hadn't, I was just following my own.

No. I can split my focus on what I'm doing all the while thinking. I can be writing an essay and thinking about what I'm gonna do when I get in home in great detail simultaneously
