I definately dont think there was a friendship, but I don't think they loathed each other as they once did. It was a "curt" nod, which is like not friendly, not mean. It was like an acknowledgement that he knew he was there and there was that mutual respect of you live your life, I live mine. Because Draco and Narcissa ended up wanting to leave the dark side, I dont think there were the same old bad feelings.

I don't think they became friends. But Draco was obviously not as evil as Harry first believed, he was merely ambitious and arrogant. And Draco could hardly hold a grudge since Harry both directly and indirectly saved his life.
