Perhaps you need to keep your horse someplace else so there aren't problems. Or take your husband with you next time you go over and you and he have a talk with the other couple to put a stop to things now before they escalate any further.
And you should have added this to your original question instead of as a single post - that way it wouldn't be as confusing.
