I love my husband... but he's controlling. And it's driven me to sneak smoking... Anyone else ever encounter this?! Although I know I can't blame him for my smoking... and I know I need to quit... Just wondering if anyone else sneaks smoking... And if your spouse found out would it be a "deal breaker" in your marriage???

You're biggest problem isn't that you "sneak smoke"......it's that your husband is controlling.

I would go to counseling....with or without him.

Get him to stop controlling you & you'll stop "sneak smoking".

Nobody should dictate to another person how to live even when it's dangerous. Your a grown woman and know the risks, you do have the right to smoke. Also you should not smoke around anyone who has any objections.

Not to be crude...BUT if he DOES NOT smoke, do you not think he can smell it on you? Perfumes, and stuff only cover it for a little bit. .

I quit about a year ago, and restarted, and boy was my old man, who smokes as well, was he PO'd. But it was not deal breaker, just a let down to him I guess, because I quit for so long. (6 months quit, then we visited HIS MOTHER..LOL and I started again)

This is FUNNY. If you think you can smoke tobacco and it not be known, you are just fooling yourself. As a smoker for more than 24 years, having quit for 5 yrs., I now know how bad I must have smelled to ppl who don't smoke. If you smoke ..... you stink, period!

You're right, you have to quit. It shouldn't be a deal breaker but it is an awful habit. Stop before you get addicted.
