If the vehicles were subjected to the same stringent codes and inspections that US trucks have to undergo, then I would have little problem with it. Also I feel that EVERY truck crossing the border should be opened and the load inspected. I know that this would be not only time consuming but expensive. But really what is to stop them from bringing in illegal immigrants, drugs, or any other number of illicit items. The flow across the border is heavy enough without allowing free reign of truckers.

yes,besides as far as the drugs being bring over here illegally,its not only Mexicans,its Whites blacks,Indians,any nationality that brings drugs in here illegally,you just can't blame just one nationality,it could be anybody.go on bring the thumbs down i know i'n going to get them but that is my opinion of.

NOT WITHOUT THOROUGH INSPECTIONS OF EVERY SINGLE TRUCK AT THE BORDER, AND A CRIMINAL HISTORY REPORT ON EVERY SINGLE TRUCK DRIVER.
OTHERWISE WE'D BE STUPIDLY ALLOWING THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND DRUG SMUGGLERS A WAY INTO OUR COUNTRY.
I DON'T GIVE A DAMN HOW DIFFICULT IT WOULD BE TO INSPECT EVERY SINGLE TRUCK. IF IT WILL HELP TO STEM THE TIDE OF ILLEGALS AND DRUGS COMING INTO OUR COUNTRY IT WILL BE WORTH IT.
JUST THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH THE ILLEGALS AND DRUGS ARE COSTING OUR ECONOMIC SYSTEM RIGHT NOW. WE CERTAINLY DON'T NEED TO ADD ANY MORE TO THAT.
IF WE'RE NOT CAREFUL, THE U.S. WILL BECOME NORTHERN MEXICO.
