People who think invading and bombing innocent countries and killing/slaughtering millions of people, destroying their community and home, leaving them refugees while creating civil wars to divide and conquer them, and then saying that is about self defense, whats the difference between Qaeda and Americans

The people of Iraq are innocent, Saddam was dictator that America supported...you are such warmongers look at all the violent posts being given a thumbs up

So Americans have proved once more they are the equivalent to terrorists you procliam

I am very critical of American foreign policy, but at least, I, unlike you have gone through the trouble of collecting enough viable information that I do not go around making stupid blanket statements. I also know that we are not all evil, we give a lot of none-military aid to a lot of countries, and we have a lot of standards that others don't.

The thing is, is that the war in Iraq isn't smart. But there is some legislative delay in pulling out (or whatever). I'm very neutral on the war and just have to say that sometimes bombings are just more efficient to prove a point. WWII ended when we dropped a bomb on Japanese cities. The other thing is, is that if you're trying to protect people, you don't directly bomb them, because then what's the point?
However, the self defense line is proabably a result of paranoia (again, this does not apply to one group), and the easiest way of getting rid of a problem is to put a big hole where they once stood...

I am tired of hearing about 9/11 being the reason for going into Iraq. Do the 30% of Am ericans (and I think most of them are on this site) who support their intelligent and honarable leader know that most of the bombers responsible for that attack were Saudi and NOT Iraqi. When dealing with our friends across the Atlantic you must remember that if you do not support them you must be a friend or supporter of every melogomaniac dictator since time began.

First off, Americans do NOT BOMB everything--if we DID, we'd just send a few big ones over to IRAQ and there'd be no more war... cause there'd be no more IRAQ!!!! Second off, if you are thinking about JAPAN, they bombed the US FIRST--remember PEARL HARBOR? and they were our ENEMY at the time and we were at WAR with them... so in order to end the war a little quicker... we went into Hiroshima and Najasaki---I'm SURE we didn't WANT to kill millions of people at that time---ESPECIALLY the innocent---but you MUST understand that in times of WAR, no one is actually innocent...that does NOT make it RIGHT---it just means that in times of war, these things happen.... Oh and evidently, SOME of those Iraqi's are NOT so innocent---after all, they have BOMBED and KILLED 3000 PLUS AMERICAN men and women (some of whom were just 18 year old BOYS AND GIRLS)... as well---as I said---that's war. I do NOT SUPPORT the war, but I certainly support my country and the young men and women who are over in Iraq .......before all you snobbish countries start ragging on the USA, try to remember who stepped IN during WW1 and WW2 and helped END THOSE WARS--they were NOT OUR WARS, but we were called, we came and we helped to keep MOST of Europe FREE.... when was the last time the USA had a catastrophy and any of YOUR countrymen or women came to the USA to AID and assist----I didn't see ONE FOREIGN AID PERSON in Louisianna after Katrina.... FEW if any after the World Trade Center went down and NO FOREIGN AID after the earthquake at Northridge California---but WHENEVER and WHEREVER there is a need for humanitarian aid, military aid, MEDICAL AID, the USA has ALWAYS BEEN THERE for ALL THE OTHER COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD.

I think you need to do a little research on your facts. The US hasn't "killed/slaughtered millions of people, destroying their community and home, leaving theim refugees while creating civil wars to divide and conquer them..." . That is being done by the Iranian backed insurgents who blow up police headquaters, schools, markets. Insurgents have slaughtered more innocent Iraqis than the American soldiers ever dreamed of killing. The difference between Al Quaeda and the Americans, is Al Quaeda doesn't care if innocent people are killed, Americans have taken so much care in trying not to injure civilians, it gets more of our own killed. If we fought this war on the same level as A-Q or the insurgents, it would have been over long ago. It continues because the American people lack the fortitude to do what is necessary to win the war.

Because since the cold war stopped the Yanks have not had anyone to be frightened of, so the Muslims are now the target, QED. You don't actually expect the Yankee military to actually use any method that would actually attack a real enemy do you?

The Iraqi people do not want them in their country and neither, I suspect, do the Afghans. While they are pulling back they could take the Israelis with them and we may have piece in the Middle East again.

Americans bomb everyone and everything because they have the technology to do it. Americas is and will be for a time no better than any of the countries its now attacking.

the soldiers are not even aware of the illeagle acts they do . not to mention the immunity bush has given them from the world court.

you must aslo realise this is the country i served in the army for 25 years. when i was in we had honor and courage and the balls to say no if it was wrong. we would stand up fr what is right.

the soldiers of today are mostly uneducated and the down trodden of the country that was first rejected by the military. now that those of a higher calibre have decided not to join the goverment lowerd the standards.

so dont blame the soldiers blame the goverment. another reason they bomb everyone and every thing is because no one wants to sell them a thing due to thier dishonorable goverment. so they bomb and steal .

amreica that i served with honor and distinction would never have done or gone along with what this preasant goverment is doing or plans to do.
