my car starts very shakey, when accelerating in Drive it goes very slowly, the rpms barely go up passed 2000. i thought the fuel injector was messed up but idk because when i put it in a lower gear or neutral, it still has rpm troubles but they do actually go up well passed 2000. i don't know, maybe its not running on all 4 cyl. if you know or have any ideas let me know pleassse, thanks

sounds like it is misfireing replace the plugs and plugwires, check the rest of the ign. system.

Might be easier to "guess" at your problem if you gave us some idea of what kind of car you have, as well as the year. Sounds like somebody was doing some work and didn`t put it back together right.

If it just happened check the firing order your friend might of switch the wires around>

Plugs, plug wires, check and clean distributor area, check old plugs for oil, carbon, improper burning. make sure plugs are snugly installed.
