Man it's like everytime i am on my work computer i log on to it...and just compelled to answer or ask? like just now.

Because it's another way for us to interact with someone else who's behind a computer like ourselves. Whether at work at home or a library or sitting in a coffee shop playing on the laptop. It's another way of making our presence known to others. And it's fun too for the most part.

it's addicting because we are social people, and we want to see who has an answer, or who thinks like us, and how many people do so.
