I'm trying to get into acting but I can't find a good agency thats not in New York or LA. I want to find one thats in Chicago, milwaukee, or in that general area. I tried John casablancas but i didn't like it. Any ideas?

While Big R has the right idea, you deserve credit for not wanting to go with Casablancas which has a bad rep. There are plenty of good agencies, but as Big R says, you have to be ready for them by experience and training. You also have to have your parents' consent if you are under 18. You're not ready to look for an agent. You need to have training and experience. I can tell from your question you don't. You have to live in the city where your agent is. This question is asked every day by young kids who want to start acting just like that. It doesn't work that way. Do a search and pay attention to the answers given by the top contributors.

It's tough to fing good agenices and i know what you're going through. Just keep searching and talking to people who have some tips on finding some. Search the internet and look in newspapers you;ll find one soon.

sorry, i'm not from that area but I suggest the phone book, checking out a theatre school's bulletin board, go to the library and check out some acting book, join an acting guild or talk to other actors.
