I recently changed the air filter, and out of like 6 spring clips to refasten, I wasn't able to fasten one of them. The box is tightly sealed with the filter. All the other clips tightened fine. But one clip would not fasten. Will this cause a problem? Or is it nothing to worry about.

Buy a six pack of beer and take the cover back off again. This time check the clip to see if it's broken and if not make it the first one you reconnect before snapping up all the others. If you get too drunk before your done, take a nap.

If the box is seated properly, you should be able to get all the clips back on. If not, it could leak a little and suck dirt into the engine. Keep trying at it. If you're SURE the lid is seated properly, maybe you need to use a small prybar or screwdriver or other tool to pop it back place.

If it wasn't needed, they would have only put 5 clips on it>
