i think i just found one in my backyard...it almost looks like it is made out of bone...

Lucky .lucky person ! I want to find artifacts and fossils so badly that I am forever stopping and looking till by back kills me ! Drives my family mad !

Your remind me of the joys with this lovely poem, and yes once had quite a collection, from fields and sand hills, blown by the wind, from Miami tribes that once roamed here, still stand and grow two bent Indian trees that direct you to and from a lake.

Yes I have found 3 whole ones and several pieces..all mine are made from flint...but that doesn't mean that yours shouldn't be made from bone...

no I never found a real one but used to look for them. Thats an interesting find maybe theres more in your yard.
