She was an Austrian I think.

With the McCann case - I think the Portuguese police have made such a hash of the whole thing, that they are determined to pin it on someone/anyone. First it was that guy who lived in Portugal - they dug up his house/garden, now the McCann have been targetted. Yet they ignored doing anything in the beginning even though the police had been given information regarding a suspicious event at a petrol station, immediately after the kidnapping.

What hasn't been explained is the car. They didn't hire it until after 25 days, if the blood was Madeleines, where was she being kept. Dead bodies don't bleed, so that means she was alive 25 days after going missing!! Where did they keep her for 25 days alive? What was the point of it all? With regard to the blood spots, perhaps it came from one of the twins.

At the very outset the McCanns were "dogged" day and night - there's no way that they could have done anything that would not have been discovered by the media presence.

The little girl was probably "stolen to order" and taken over the Spanish/Portuguese border within half an hour of the kidnapping.

Every time I open a paper I feel so sad for the little girl and the family - what must they be feeling knowing that it was their carelessness that brought about the whole terrible tragedy.

I remember reading about that in the newspaper. But I don't think that it will happen in the McCann case. I think that Madeline is dead and I think that the parents had something to do with it. Who in there right mind would leave there small children alone while they went to dinner? I would really like to know there reasoning for leaving them.

I do remember that case, wasn't her name Jessica or something like that. I think it deffantly could happen with McCann case, but i hope not Madeline is such a beautiful child who has the rest of her life ahead of her. I have a gut feeling though, that she is not alive and the parents had something to do with it.

Without a reliable crystal ball or soothsayer, who knows. We still dont have any idea what actually happened to the girl.

Anything could happen, hopefully some childless couple will have kidnapped her and she is being spoilt rotten right now.

pretty unlikely

I think it's the Austrian girl you're talking about.

She was about 10 when taken - much older than 4
