Before adding your other fish, make sure all the salt is out of the water. Kuhlis are a scaleless fish and can become sick or ill if kept in water with even normal amounts of salt. Add the Betta first, and then, the week after you get the Betta, add the Kuhlis. This will allow the bacteria in your tank time to catch up to the future bioload. Email me if you have any questions.

EDIT: They are sensitive, but not super sensitive... My question would be, "why did you need to treat them?" Did they have Ick? In that case, salt and heat is a good choice... With the Kuhlis though, you have to be very careful about medicating if they do get sick.

EDIT: Bettas are very peaceful and only attack fish that look like other Bettas... Neons have short fins and would not pose a threat to the Betta's territory, ESPECIALLY a female...

You treated neon tetras with salt? Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't neons super sensitive to salt levels?

even before you add the bettas, be sure you have places where your tetras to hide coz most bettas (even females) tends to chase and bully other fishes.
