Clarification;
In the Uk it is illegal for almost anyone to carry a gun, therefore anyone who does so has illegal and violent intentions.

What? You do know it can be legal to carry a gun, right? I don't even understand the thinking of someone who woud proscribe such a terrible 'punishment' on people simply based on their own personal views of right or wrong.

That's a really vague question. Are you referring ONLY to people who are illegally carrying firearms, such as drug dealers or gang members? Do you mean only the people who are a danger to society by carrying firearms? Who are you specifically talking about?

absolutly, it is illegel to carry any dangerous weapon and this classed as a dangerous weapon. if you want protection, get some pepper spray. if a teen was cought with one then they'd throw the book at them and get the media involved, if it was an adult they'd go all nansey-pansey and the media would accuse the police of harrasing the gun handler.

No, I think it should be the other way around.I read one time that in one country they have a law that every household has to own a gun and there has been no crime there for years.
If the law your talking about is to be enforced that's the only way to do it.

a lot of people who do great things carry guns army navy airforce police and other agencies DO THEAY DESERVE TO BE SHOT BECAUSE THEAY CARRY GUNS
