I am researching communication differences and was wondering what different guestures mean in different countries. Do you know any that are not guestures from the US?

In Hindu Religion there ar about 108 KARA NYAASAM (hand gestures) also called Mudra Vigjnaanam---it is silent communication through hand gestures, invented and standardised 1000s of years before the Modern Hand Gestures are used all over the world by deaf and dumb.I collected information on all these Mudras. In Indian Classical dances-Bhratham-Kathkkali-Kucchipudi,Kathak,Manipuri these Mudras(hand gestures) are used.--In South India while consecrating new Idols in Hindu Temples and routine Temple rituals these Mudras are used.--Kerala(India) Namboodris are Top experts in Mudra Vigjnaanam(Mudra Knowledge)-- I know a few Mudras -like Praana, Apaana, Vyaana,Chin, Avaahani, Sthaapani, Avakunditha,Thaala,Viparyaasa Nyaasa,Karan Nyaasam,Angannyaasam etc.

P.S:-Kucchipudi,Kathak,Manipuri are missing in the main post

Well... I know that when you stick you thumb between your middle and index finger that means something rude (not as rude as the middle finger in US) in Russia.

And Just Me, it isn't universal. The middle finger doesn't meen anything in Russia.
