A full service host like GoDaddy can give you the info and service from start to finish. costs about 60 bucks a year for both host and for domain name.
Learn a little about HTML and you can build your own website, otherwise it could become very expensive.

Come up with a name and address then on the front of the Yahoo home page there's a link under Small Business that says Get a Website.

If you want to build a solid online presence, with a website that actually works (ie brings traffic to your business) take a look at this program http://find.sitesell.com/Susan129.html
It works for almost any kind of business, and you don't need any web-design/technical/seo experience. The domain name, hosting, step-by-step instructions and technical support is all included.
Free websites and other such programs aren't much help if you don't know how to actually build your website, or generate traffic. I've built a thriving, profitable website using SiteBuildIt! and I had zero web experience.! You can read my story at the url below.
Good luck with your venture!
