I like the way my girlfriend is. She likes to look nice, but if she's not she doesn't panic. She rides horses and works with animals a lot, so sometimes when we're together she smells like a barn- if she can, she'll shower, but if she can't it's not like she can't bear to be seen. You know how girls are like that? She's perfect. She wants to look nice when she can, but its not like a huge deal. Just a preference. More girls should be like that.

Completely real would mean not shaving also. I wonder how many men would like that lol...Some go overboard with plastic surgery and their obsession with looks...looking like a decorated Christmas tree....but I think most men would agree that some changes to the "natural" ways are necessary...but then again, I'm not a guy...so I'll just watch the answers.

Confidence (not *********) and secureness can be one of the most attractive features of a girl. Of course, she still would take care of herself and not neglect the obvious things like grooming and hygiene..
In contrast, a good looking girl that says "OMG I'm so fat!" every time she looks in the mirror can be one of the biggest turn offs ever.

Personally, I prefer women who have self-confidence providing their not "stuck on themself" ...you can normally tell ...confident people dress well, fix themselves up to look good, keep fit and trim. To me anyone who is overweight and does not take care about their looks and weight is a slob and very unattractive. On the otherhand too much makeup or bazaar clothing or aneorexia look is equally a turn off. Plain can be nice and refreshing...BUT, few people can pull that off...if it works for you...Roll with it!

If you mean a shapely, attractive girl who's perfectly comfortable in a pair of beat-up jeans and a t-shirt, that's certainly likable.
If you mean a 22-year woman who's comfortable with matted hair and legs that look like ricotta cheese in a plastic bag, that's another matter altogether.

I have never encountered a man who enjoys being asked if this dress makes her look fat or if her hair looks as bad as she thinks it is. Being pretty, well-groomed, and confident in the fact that one is pretty and well-groomed will suffice.

I prefer someone that is in the middle, but leans more toward the 'real' person. It shows that they are comfortable with themselves but still realize that it is nice to look good for a loved one.

Depends what you mean by real. If real includes shaving, washing, wearing deoderant and brushing your teeth then I'm sure guys would like that. Dying you hair isn't that important to them.
