Good question. The thing is about next week's game is someone has to win.
On the field: I don't know who it will be. It's just that up in the air at this point.
Off the field: I think Carr is finished no matter what - it's just a matter of him leaving at the end of the season or sometime before. ND would have to come up with some big bucks to buy out the rest of Fat Boy's contract, so it will be interesting to see what happens with that.
Miles would be stupid to leave LSU and come to a disaster zone in Ann Arbor.

I don't think anyone is surprised that Notre Dame is 0-2, but Michigan being 0-2 was (seriously) expected by 0 people on the whole planet. I'll still take Michigan in the match-up though.
I don't see Les leaving a great situation at LSU... even for his Alma mater.

Well, Michigan shocked me this year.
I'm an Irish fan, and knew we would have a rough season (just wasn't expecting it to be this rough). Michigan on hte otherhand, truly did get overhyped this season. (How could ND be when they weren't even ranked?)
I think Notre Dame has a slim chance of winning though. Notre Dames Def has actually not been as bad as people wanna say (if you look at hte first halfs, they played well......but all those offensive three and outs insured that they were gonna get tired out). And since UM def might be the only unit worse than ND's O, Clausen might actually manage to score (once, maybe, if he gets lucky), where as Michigan has got nothing so far out of Arrington or Manningham, and Harts hammy seams to be pretty bad. And Henne?....getting hurt might actually help UM's offense (can we say overrated...I have for over two years now).
So i think, it is winnable for the Irish.....espescially if the secondary can keep causing turnovers like thay did to Penn.
And Les Miles at UM......? I would live it...watching him and Tressel go at it every year would be freakin awesome!!!
I think he might be tempted...LSU is an awesome school....but he played at UM,and is a Michigan man.....plus UM still has the history.....and He could OWN the Big Lie, year after year....

Sure both Michigan and Notre Dame are bad teams, but so far, Michigan has lost to the worst team. I'd say Notre Dame has a better chance to beat them than App State had.

Carr has stated that Henne is "questionable" for next week's game ( I thought he was questionable during this week's game). If the freshman QB starts, its another a$$whoopin'.
Notre Dame plays rough and tough. Even if Chad starts, bet that he re-injures the leg after a flubbed offensive play.

You mean the upcoming Toilet Bowl right??? It will be a clash of the two shittest overated teams in college football, with the winner finally getting into the W column and the loser taking home the Turd Memorial Trophey. I see no offense what so ever and the game ends at regualtion in 0-0 tie. In overtime, (after about 35 of them) some how, someone will score a safety and win 2-0

why would he leave the sec to coach in the big 10? when the best from the sec plays the best from any other confernce they crush them (LSU 48- vt 7) (LSU 41-ND14) (FL 41- OSU-14) Teams from other good conferences may beat the 3rd(georgia), 4th(Auburn), 5th(Tennessee), 6th(Arkansas) 7th(SouthCarolina), best teams every once in a while but thats it. LSU will crush whoever they play in the title if they can get through the sec. Michigan, even if they had started 2-0, would probably lose to a USC or West Virginia. The SEC champ is the best team in college football every year, we just have better athletes in the south. Plus its cold in michigan so they have nothing to offer that lsu doesn't.

I hate Michigan as much as anybody, but Carr doesn't deserve this B.S. treatment he's getting!
Miles would be dumb if he left LSU where he is surrounded by the best High School players in the country to pick from.
