No unfortunately I did not. I decided that getting married at 16 and having a child was a better idea. Now i know it wasn't. Now I am remarried to a much better MAN and he gave me the best wedding and that was my prom. It was better then any Prom. It was MY day!! : )

Hell No, you couldn't pay me to go to my proms back in the 70's. Being forced to attend some function in a dress (sorry I am a pants kind of gal) and be tortured with disco music when I would rather be listening to some hard rock, not the scene for me!

yes, and i had to organise it to because our school refuses to do anything fun and social for our year. There was a buffet, a DJ, (there was going to be a band but it broke up before the date) we decorated it beautifully, about 120 people came (its a very small school/year in an all girls school) and most girls had dates. About half and half wore full length dresses and knee length gowns and from what i could tell and from the comments afterwards everyone had a good time.

No. I did ask a girl to go. But found out before I bought the tickets that she had just broke up with her previous boyfriend and was only going to the prom with me to make him jealous.

Definitely, 11th and 12th grade prom. So fun!! And I went with friends. Totally fun!!! No high expectations and no disappointments. And I'm 30 years old now and I still don't regret going with friends.

i did not go to my high school prom when i was in junior high, i just dont feel like going there, but i did go to my prom when i was a senior high, it was really fun.

I went to my senior prom with a 4 girl. We rented a limo ourselves and had a blast. No boy presurre, just fun with friends.

I did....and my prom date said on the way "I hope my b/f don't see me"....
She ditched me as soon as we got there and she danced all night with another guy...they eventually married (but it only lasted a year). I had more fun without her anyways :-)

no the one i was going to be with he went around two days early on a hiking trip this has happened to several children in the past years also the trip was of accident he fell off cliff now you can see where i was on that special day yes it took his life i stile thank of it 40 years passed now.
