Physically, stock up on food that can be eaten cold or hot, like soup, bread, and canned vegetables, and food that won't ruin no matter how cold it gets, like chocolate. Buy a little cook stove and a heater or 2 that run on some type of fuel. Be sure to have plenty of blankets and warm clothing. Remember that snow can be consumed if it isn't yellow. Have flashlights, oil lamps, or candles handy. Get some books or board games out in case of a power outage. Spiritually, enjoy the soft sound of falling snow and the quietness, catch some snowflakes on your tongue, start a snowball fight or two. Drink some hot chocolate or tea and relax. If winter isn't your thing, remember it only comes once a year.

(*sigh*) Regretfully not. I really wouldn't at least a month or two of cold weather. Now..would be nice. I live in Florida, so my chances are slim.
