I am a man who cannot stand those I love to be in pain or discomfort. My heat aches when I can't take that pain away. When my wife was in labour with our baby girl, there was nothing I could do to take that away. That, my friend, was truly the most heart-breaking thing I've ever witnessed. Of course, in the end, the sight of our little girl as she came out (C-section, as it turned out) and swaddling her up next to her mother drowned the heart ache in a river of joy.

Thinking about a friend, he's not in a good place at the moment, life is really not good for him and I wish I could help him more than just with words, but for various reasons I can't. He deserves good things to happen, and it's breaking my heart thinking off all the sh*t he's going through :(
