green dot indicates player with the radio helmet!!! Only one can be on the field at a time.

The green sticker indicates that there is a receiver & mic in that helmet. This way the QB can stay in constant contact w/ the coach.
Only one green dot is allowed on the field at a time.

It is to show the officials that they have a radio in their helmets and only one player on the field at a time can have a radio inside their helmets so they are marked with the sticker. It is a new rule for this season.

the green dot shows that a speaker system is hooked up to the qbs helmet
the system is to hear the coaches calls

what they said is 100 present corect
they started this this year because other radios could pick up transmistions but motorola made a special unice transmishion for each team
