Face your fear to overcome it. If you crash and burn which you probably won't......laugh with everyone else and pretend it was the way your act was suppose to go. When on stage image the audience is just a bunch of monkeys watching and will like anything......never look them in the eyes.....focus on yourself, within yourself....when looking out go above their heads. The first time will be the hardest. You will do it and wonder why you worried in the first place. When you are a famous star remember I told you so.

There is a tradition in the stage that the best always suffer from stage fright. Olivier vomited before he went on stage. Ron Stewart used hide behind one of the huge speakers to sing rather then appear on stage. I used to jump out of airplanes althrough I am afraid of both heights and falling. Every time I stepped into the blue I would piss my pants. It simply became part of the routine, stand to, check gear, put on oxygen, step out and piss my pants. If you want it you can overcome anything to get it.

Start singing for small groups - like your family. Do it every night with your family until you can go in front of maybe your neighbors, then your neighbors friends...and so on.
Everyone has stage fright...you just have to overcome it.

Hmm take it a step at a time. Maybe join a drama group so that you can let others see you acting or singing. I'm not really sure, it's a tricky one. Ooo maybe you could have a sing-along party!! Then you'll HAVE to sing in front of your friends, friends are a good start :-)
Good luck! If you become famous, let me know!!

Join the school choir (i assume you are still at school) singing with other people is less terrifying.
Or ask for singing lessons.
The best way is to get on stage. Join your local amateur dramatics society and just do it, you will soon forget about the fear and think how much fun it is.

Try going to an empty beach, or a place where nobody can hear you, and sing at the top of your lungs, until your throat gets sore. and keep doing that until you feel like you can do it in front of people. start with friends. then family. then in front of people on stage.

Now first I have something to tell you, many people say that "When you look at other people, you think their better and when people look at you, they think your better" For example, if you look at other people with their family you think their a lot happier than you, but if they look at you with your family, they think your happier than them. So if you just go on stage and start singing, no one would care because they will always think that you got confidents to go on stage and sing and they don't.
