Let's look at it like this: Six guys, using ALL their might, beat up ONE guy for several minutes. How long do you think that one guy will live? Well, I'll tell you. Given he's in pretty good health, the one guy will spend 2 final minutes, if that, till he dies; less than a minute is he's in frail health. That's logical common sense--and it's a REAL FACT.

But Louisiana law looks on it differently: Unless a weapon is involved in the beating BY JUVENILES, the crime falls under 2nd degree battery.

Yeah, throw in the race card--that's a smart idea. Then you have six BLACK guys guilty of a HATE CRIME. Now, you have adult charged crime there. When they blow out the 18th birthday candle, they're on the way to being some convict's *****!!

Then somebody cries out for Al Sharpton to rally to their aid. Hey, that's a GREAT idea!! Let's get the guy who HOAXED the Tawana Brawley incident and nearly caused a race war in the process.

You might want to do some Google on that incident. Al paid some heavy $$$ to wriggle out from jail hoaxing that sick matter. But yeah--the Jena 6 REALLY need that idiot to speak for them. And Jesse: what's he gonna do? Wave a magic wand and set all six free???

If you want to Cry Freedom, do so for someone innocent: You're wasting time on the Jena 6.

My husband and myself are the two former Black Panthers. while this got here out, before it hit mainstream media, the Black Panthers have been already in contact. for my section and interior the opinion of many. we've not got self assurance that the youngsters should not be punished, yet we are thinking why the youngsters that further the gun to college substitute into no longer punished, no longer even suspended. As I sit down down and start to study the certainly history, i substitute into apalled and fairly debated my selection on leaving the Black Panthers. This has been a warm subject be counted in our better half and babies. We left the Panthers using fact we did no longer choose for our teenagers to improve up with racist innovations and we would have liked to furnish them the prospect to make up their own minds. we've a sixteen 365 days previous, and he asked, Why are white human beings ignoring the finished tale and purely asserting what the black teenagers did incorrect yet are no longer asserting what the white teenagers did incorrect. Our son is very intelligent and he has continually judged on character. He researched this college history for virtually 2 days, and that i substitute into apalled at particular issues. no one thinks that the youngsters should not be punished, the black community is thinking why college administration allowed this to pass on and on till somebody ended up in penitentiary. we are thinking why the white teenagers have been in no way punished even while they further a weapon to college. we'd choose for to correctly known why is it that all of the activities that lead as much because it is being omitted and all blame is being positioned on the black scholars, like they simply walked up and beat somebody up. This youthful guy went to a social gathering the comparable night, and alter into having a large time different than some minor scratches. Then the youngsters are charged with tried homicide for a combat. attack, definite yet homicide? The sufferer isn't lots of the sufferer while he participated in countless verbally racially charged assaults and threats. My question to all of the persons rallying around this racist college is, What might YOU do if somebody persisted to threaten you and positively one of their friends further a gun, might you purely ignore approximately it or do what you're able to to end the abuse.

Absolutely not. Before one says they tried to commit murder because one student is alive is ridiculous. For those who don't know the story, here is a link from NPR (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=12353776). This is a double standard issue with the justice system of America.
