If a block of dry ice were put into a sealed container of liquid oxygen, will the dry ice stay permanently solid?

Also, will the dry ice keep the liquid oxygen liquid? Thx.

Dry ice has a higher melting point than liquid oxygen and so unless it is supercooled to the temperature of the liquid oxygen, a part of the liquid will evaporate. The dry ice may stay solid as long as the liquid oxygen suply is available.

It depends on how much dry ice you have, and how much liquid oxygen you have.

The dry ice is much hotter than the liquid oxygen. At normal atmospheric pressure, the temperature of dry ice is -78.5 C, while liquid oxygen has a maximum temperature of -183 C.

By mixing the two together, the only direction for the temperature of dry ice to go is down, and the direction of the liquid oxygen is up. This is a consequence of one of the Laws of Thermodynamics (cold things heat up while hot things cool down until they reach a common temperature).

In all cases, the dry ice will remain frozen. However, depending on the final temperature, the liquid oxygen may no longer be liquid.

For a while, until the dry ice and its container are at the same temperature as the liquid oxygen, the LOX will boil rapidly due to the heat from the 'foreign body' immersed in it.
It will remain as dry ice as long as LOX is present.
It will not keep the LOX as a liquid but, what does, is the boiling of the liquid which removes sensible heat from the liquid (keeping it at its boiling point), by using the sensible heat as latent heat of vaporisation.

(During the whole process, the LOX temperature will not change).
