Have you ever wondered what people thing right before they commit suicide? And also once they reach the other side are they upset or happy about what they did?

I have wondered this because I want to know what makes a person go that step further to actully pulling the trigger of a gun or actully slitting their wrist...or so on. I some people dont do it because they are actually afraid of death and afraid of whats may be on the otherside, so this fear how can i say--keeps them at bay.

what do you think?

What do you think, please give details and what do you think could be the cause of someone...."going all the way" without staggering to think twice.

I'll tell you this only once.
You don't want to know what people think that makes them go that last step. The well is too deep, the darkness is complete black. No colour, no sun, no birds, no song, no love.
There is no beauty, there is no laughter, there are no animals or happy sounds of kids playing. Dragons live in your head, and monsters keep you awake for days in your bed. The moments of sleep you do mange to catch are filled with nightmares so real you can't tell if you are wake or dreaming and you never find out.Your thoughts cannot be completed, sentences roll through without making paragraphs, and are forgotten in seconds.
I hope to God you never find out, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. The worst of it is you never know when the dragons are gonna return. Peace.

Don’t carry your burdens alone. I’m praying for you, friend. God created you in His own image, and your life is precious no matter what issues you’re facing. I hope you’ll write back and let us all know how you’re doing.

There are two types of people who commit suicide. There are the ones wanting attention. They don't feel loved, or wanted, or needed, or successful, or whatever. By attempting, but not succeeding, gives them attention from their family and friends. Unfortunately, they do succeed sometimes.

The other type is the person who is tired of living. They may have happy lives, but they are tired of the day to day struggles. They want out, and dying is an option. These people usually succeed.

If a person does something quickly (i.e., blowing your brains out) or painlessly (i.e., using drugs to induce a coma), there thoughts are centered around why they are there to start with. If person does it slowly (i.e., hanging), then the person usually wishes to stop the action before it is finished.

My personal belief is when they cross over to the other side, they are disappointed. First, they discovered they are a coward for not finishing there life natually. They didn't pass the test. I believe the ones meeting the person on the other side will show their disappointment, but will understand and still love them. As for God's judgment, I'm not sure what He will say about the matter. Murder is a sin. If you murder yourself, then you can not repent.

Why does a person go the extra step? That is like asking why one person from a crowd risks their own life to save another. What causes a person to perform differently then the people around them? I'm not sure.

They are thinking that it's gonna be better once they do it. They generally think their life is so bad that it can't get any worse. I thought about it when I was a kid, but was too scared to do it (than GOD) If people can just take a look at what other people are going through, there's always someone in a worse situation than ours. I was going through some tough times and was having a week long pity party with myself. Then Hurricane Katrina hit and I saw those poor people in Louisiana dying. Every since then, when I'm down, I just turn on the news and see those worse off than myself.
I don't think they are happy when they reach the other side, because many religions believe if you kill yourself you go to Hell. Reminds me of the song OLD MAN RIVER. "I'm tired of living, but afraid of dying." When I go, it's not gonna be by my hand.

You know you will never know the answer to your question, unless you yourself commit suicide and then no one will know because you will take with you in death.
I believe that people commit suicide because they are at the end of their rope, meaning they think that there is no solution to their problem. But think about it, how many times you or anyone has a problem and think it is the end and all of a sudden a solution comes to mind and the problem is solve.
I feel sorry for those who commit suicide because what happens in their mind is that they forgot the last time they had a problem and it was solved. They have lost faith in life. They have lost all that means to them at that instant. I believe that in the moment that they are killing themselves they want to retract and say no I do not want to die, but it is too late, now, that is my opinion.
But to end this the people that do commit suicide just cannot think of another way out, and away they go. When the solution might be just around the bend.....Blessed be...Bori.

Well I'm not proud of my attempt at it when I was younger in my teens after my dad died. But one attempt my last thoughts were OK I'm about to pass out and that will be it. I wasn't actually thinking of anyone else at that moment other then myself. That I was just going to fall asleep and that was it. But obviously I did wake up again. Only because a hose I used burn through. And I never tried it again after that. I was to much of a coward to use a gun or blade. I had no one I felt to turn to at that point in my life.

I knew a guy who just killed himself a couple weeks ago. I think these people have some kind of chemical imbalance in their brain. Some days they are good, some days not so good. They feel like they are pieces of krap and nothing they do can make themselves feel better. the pressure gets to them, they feel the failure, , and it seems like the walls of the box are closing in on them. It is hard for me to imagine because I have never been in their shoes but when I smoke weed I get panic attack almost like anxiety over things. You start thinking about your past it it depressess you, that is why I do not smoke weed.

my father shot and killed himself in 1967. He left me a note. He said he thought he had cancer of the brain, of course he didn't.....he had just came out of a hospital for alcoholics. I dont know what they told him and I dont believe he left with any medication. I was 15. I am 62 now and still dont understand.
In 2011 my son went to an ER and told them he was suicidal, they didnt believe him and didnt admit him. Later that day he ran out on the interstate in front of an oncoming semi truck just like he said he was going to do. The last cry for help was at the ER.
I will never understand.

For me, it was because I felt it was the only thing I really could do, the only thing I could control. I am fortunate that I wasn t successful because on this side of it, I have realized that every second I wasn t trying to kill myself, I was actually doing something OTHER than kill myself, which was the only thing I thought I COULD do. With therapy and medication, I have come to understand how powerfully blinding depression, hopelessness and helplessness can be to reality.
