Depends on the weather and time of year.
The park is a safe bet almost anytime of year (depending on the anemities of that park)
The beach is mood point. I have to want to drive home (as I live about 35 miles inland from the shore) with sand stuck to me. Sometimes it's worth it, sometimes I just don't have the patience or energy to deal with another clean up job.
