I'm currently attending a community college, and am not quite halfway to earning my associates degree. I am really interested in going to another school and becoming an x-ray technician (radiography degree).

My question is, would it be wise for me to finish my associates degree before starting school for an x-ray tech., or should I go ahead and quit school, and start x-ray school?

Personally, I would like to at least have my associates for I don't know if x-ray would work out.

I want to do the best for my academic career, so what should I do? Thanks!

Do you know if you will even be accepted in the x-ray program? If it takes you a couple of years to get accepted, in the meantime you should just finish your degree.

medical sonography, radiologic technologies etc are AAS point classes. you need to get right into a particular application. you will get an acquaintances diploma in something else first, even though it does not substitute the course standards for those classes. you are able to talk with your community community colleges which oftentimes have all those classes attainable.
