Best place to learn guitar in Portland?

Hi,
I want to learn the acoustic guitar (basic). I'm 26. Can anyone suggest a good place I can start learning guitar?
Btw, I don't own one and have no idea how to read notes.

You want to learn the acoustic guitar (basic0.You are 26 years old. You need a good place which you can start learning guitar.
It’s not impossible to learn guitar at this age. I think age is not a matter of fact. Please try to teach yourself with tabs rather than learning to read. Gradually you will improve with best help check out the link given in resource box.

your age is against you here but it is not impossible to learn.

Try posting on craigslist.com in the portland section and see what locals there suggest.

If you are only seeking playing as a hobby and I am sure you are, Try to teach yourself tabs rather than learning to read. Normaly I would not recomend anyone cheat by just learning tabs but reading music is easier learned when you are younger.The older we get,the harder it is to learn old tricks.
