Once every blue moon, there comes a match made in heaven that results in the holiest of holy matrimonies. A good example is J. Lo and Ben. Just kidding. But in rap's case, if you get the perfect producer with the perfect MC, it's nothing short of pure greatness. You had Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, Guru and DJ Premier, Parrish Smith and Erick Sermon, Eric B and Rakim, etc. My favorite MC/producer duo is the underrated Pete Rock and CL Smooth.
