Hey- it was summer, the weather was nice...

Geo. III was taxing us without giving us a say in where the money went.
Of course, no other English colony had anything to say,either.

The excat date it not in my midn but why is something I know.

America was under the rule of Britian at the time, to make sure America did not go independent and declare revolution Britian sent harsh laws that limited the Americans that lived there so if they never inflicted the harsh laws on the american, Americans would of never revolted so like many great tyrants Britian created its own downfall.

The people here were British citizens,but king George III was'nt giving them the basic rights of englishmen,and they werent going to stand for it any longer.The rise in taxes kind of pushed them a little to far.It was going to happen sometime,but the British ensured that it happened how and when it did with their taxes.

It was time...the Brittish were becoming unreasonable in their taxing and demands for goods from the colonies. We were at a point where we knew we could survive on our own without the Brittish control or protection.
