What kind of shark? Saltwater sharks sleep, but they must continue moving to keep water and oxygen flowing through their gills. Also, saltwater sharks DO have eyelids that they close when they attack their prey to avoid damage from the struggling animal.

Freshwater pet sharks have transparent membranes over their eyes and they don't "sleep", but they often rest in a certain spot like, in a cave, or near a certain plant. Goldfish act the same as freshwater sharks.

Yes, it may not look like it but they do. THey just can't shut their eyes. So they will porobobly go to thr bottom of the tank and barely move.

i heard that sharks do sleep, but not for long 'caz they start to sink.
