Just keep your face clean. Don't overdo it and scrub it constantly because you'll get sore. Wash it properly morning and evening and slap on a nice light moisturiser afterwards especially overnight. Don't wear lashings of makeup and make sure you get it all off before you go to bed. Don't pick your spots or you'll spread them. For the blackheads use a cleansing cream on them (EVERY DAY) which will keep them away. For the spots, a dab of something astringent like witch-hazel if they're particularly bad - otherwise leave them alone.

Hm, I found no class action law suit on Proactiv Solution by Rodan & Fields if this is what you mean. I use it once in a while on my combination skin (too lazy to use it daily as I did before) and love it. It's not a miracle but it works for me. It's certainly not for everyone - we all are so different. It has great acne-fighting ingredients such as salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. If you have sensitive skin, use it less frequently and gradually increase use if desired.
I use Proactiv Solution Renewing Cleanser to exfoliate every other day. Then I apply Proactiv Solution Revitalizing Toner with a cotton ball. After that I apply a bit of Proactiv Solution Repairing Lotion - it stings a bit but makes my skin and pores so smooth the next couple of days. If it stings, I apply Proactiv Solution Oil-Free Moisturizer to calm it down. I try going lightly on Repairing Lotion as it tends to whiten my already very light skin. All of this I do before the bed time. And wear sunscreen foundation by Bare Escentuals during the day.
On my non-Proactiv days I use Faberlic cleansing gel foaming and working it on my face with Sonia Kashuk soft kabuki brush. Then I'm done or sometimes follow with Dr. Denese Firming Facial Pads and Dr. Denese Hydroshield Moisturizing Serum.
And of course every day I use an eye cream. Dr. Denese Eye Gel or Dior Capture Totale are my favorites for the eyes. And Dr. Brandt R3P or L'Oreal cream on laugh lines.
This routine seems to work pretty well for me although I do get some tiny pimples here and there once a month. It also greatly depends on what you eat, what you drink, how your digestive system functions, and what your daily stress levels are.

DON'T BUY OVER THE COUNTER PRODUCTS!! they are a total waste of money and time... I swear I bought every spot, acne cream or watever and none of them work! Take a trip to your docs they can prescribe you with some antibiotics depending of the severness of your acne, it takes 6 months to work... but it was well worth it I hardley never get anyspots anymore and if I do it clears up within a day! Good look! x

also if you want to cover up red pimples, use physicians formula's green concealer..it covers up redness...then obviously put another concealer over it.
www.physiciansformula.com
some other little things to help:
put ur hair up at night.
switch pillow cases once in a while.
dont touch the pimples!!

Um.. no. It doesn't work, at least for me it didn't. People say it's good, but i tried it for to weeks and it only irritated my skin the product irritates skin. I bought Clean & Clear products and my face is clearing up, it really works.

Proactive doesn't work, it's a scam. Go to a dermetologist because everyone's skin is different.

when i use proactiv, i notice that my acne reduces..it doesn't take it completely away...at least for me, but maybe that's because i usually use it once a day not twice a day like they say. but yeah i would recommend using it :)
