I am not a fan of Starbucks or the coffee house scene. I said that to a group of folks and I was looked upon as if I was "beneth" them or something, And I was questioned as to why I did not like starbucks.

I thought to myself is it really that serious.

First off i am not into coffee or any of the beverages they sale, I know they sale other stuff but I am not into the genre of things they sale

I love their Green Tea Blast Frappucinos. I know a lot of people hate the franchise as a whole but seriously consumers could put a stop to this by just choosing to do their business at locally owned shops. And the prices are not really that much different.

Defenitely NOT a crime. In Mexico, it´s pretty big, too. I used to loove it and then I realized that it´s not so good. The quality of service is NOT the best and if there´s a BETTER COFFEE and BETTER SERVICE that would be Gloria Jeans. Their snacks are great, as well. Do you have it on the States, probably not. It´s Australian.

To some people. I don't go to Starbucks (or drink coffee at all) because I don't agree on how much money the Ethiopian coffee farmers get payed, but that's just me.

Duncan Doughnuts coffee is just as good if not better! I think Starbucks is just a lot of hype for the ultra pretentious.

<-----Coffee Snob, hates Starbucks

No, you're not crazy and it is no crime. In my opinion, and I am a total coffee snob, $tarbucks= McDonalds of coffee houses. Their coffee is sub par at best, full of high fructose sweeteners and strange drink powders that make my coffee grainy with god knows what inside.
I prefer coffee from people who may actually roast their own beans, own their own shops (I usually get a better and cheaper cup of coffee served from someone who runs and owns their own place) or my Puerto Rican grandmother who makes the best cafe con leche in the world!

Starbucks is way overrated, and too expensive, I love coffee but I make my own and save a lot of money.

I HATE coffee, so I dislike Starbucks. Even if I liked coffee, I think it is pretty expensive, is it not?

I agree with you!
