my ex-bestfriend and I work in the same company. Her and her daugther got into argument and she kicked her out now she came to me and I took her in for 3 months now-she's 18. her mom got mad at me and spread rumors that i manipulating her daugther. Her daughter and I knew about her affair and bringing her men to her home. I sent her a letter calling her slut and a whore, now she wants me get fired at my job for harassing her. I mailed the letter to her home. And she also wants to sue me for slander. She said my letter was her evidence. Also can she get me arrested for that letter?

This sonds more like high school than real life.

Stop sending letters like that and stop calling people names and you won't have problems like this in the future.

You mailed the letter to her.
( A mistake, but no crime.)
Slander is defaming her to others. No slander.
As to the firing, you should get a hearing.
If the daughter shows up on your side, she
might be the one fired, and she should be made
to understand this, ( quietly & calmly, without cursing).
