Just ignore her. Ignore the lies she spreads, if someone brings them up, just roll your eyes and say, "did *her name here* tell you that?"
Just pretty much stay away from her. She's really not your friend at all.
Good luck!
P.S. Please use punctuation next time...it makes your questions so much easier to read.

Some of it you did pretty well; some of it you could've done better. When you confront people, especially with stuff they might've done wrong, it's best to remember two simple rules:(1) Do it as privately as possible (because if you verbally attack someone in public they feel honor bound to "posture" so they don't look like they just let you PUNK them), and (2) while you're having this private meeting of the minds, it's best to give them some wiggling room so they can feel like they left this meeting with ther dignity intact. (Nothing fights as hard as an animal that has been cornered [that's a fact of nature], and if you don't leave a person a way out of a conflict they're going to fight you whether they want to or not). If what you're truly interested in is finding out why the behavior got started in the first place and how it can be solved, then my way is the better way to go. On the other hand, if in your heart you know you just want to scrap, then throw all other pretention to the winds and do what you do. Good luck to you.

Well the way you approached her and mentioned it was a little forward and it probably made her feel threatened in a way. Which is why she got on the defense about it and flipped out, not to mention also because she knew she was doing you wrong.
Therefore she acted like a guilty person, and instead of fessing up to you and apologizing for what she's done...she flipped out and made herself look even more guilty.
So I think if you know that's how she is and that's how she rolls with friends, then she's obviously not worthy of being called anyone's friend.
Toss her lying butt to the curb and go inside and wash your hands, and move on with your life.
You can always make new friends, there is no use in wasting your time and emotions on some silly girl who has nothing better to do with herself or her time then talk about you all day long to everyone.
Brush it off.
