Between me and you..... we always know what we have done and someone is upset! It takes only a moment to examine things carefully and walk in the other person's shoes....
We simply, tenderly and humbly say "I m sorry", meaning it. And more emphatically promise to yourself that you will try not to upset them again this way.
Human relations function better when we are sincere simple and kind.

First I would ask if I did or said anything to upset them. If they tell me. And I think I could have offended them, without meaning to. I apologize and say I'm sorry.

I say it straightforwardly with no fancy beating around the bush.
I hate to waste energy anymore in approaching subjects through arabesques.
If I don't know what I've done to upset them, but believe I may have, I ask what it is that I've done to upset them. PERIOD!

u ask them what made them upset in order not to do it again so when u understand what clearly happened u should appologize and it may be something good in ur personality which makes them upset this means that they r not good ,fights is helpful to know people if they r good or not but that doesnt mean that we make fights to know each other its a part of knowing people

One of my friends have been in a situation just like u're. And he called the guy , he started by telling him that he's sorry even if he doesn't know what he did to him, and the other guy told him what was all about, and of course they are friends again now.

u cen always say ur sorry their upset, wethout apologizing for whut u did, or saying u acted wrongful ♥ say u are sorry they are hurt, an ask if they cen talk to u about it. if they wont tell u, let it go and be at peace. u tried ur best to reach out to them ~ gud luck! {love joey}

That's a tough one. How about, "I'm sorry if I did or said anything insensitive to upset you; however, I'd appreciate if you TOLD me what it was, so that it won't happen again."

I usually begin with a question," What have I done to upset you." she refused. "Could we talk it over a cup of coffee," she pleased. '' Ok ! Meet me an hour time. " she insisted.
A simple gestures and conversations allowed perceptiveness to work itself.

i dont know if it is warrented then if you dont know what you've done wrong. i guess all you can do is be sincere and say that you apologise for anything you could have possibly done but honestly half the time it wont get accepted cos the fact you dont know what you've done keeps them pissed off
