Well, I'm 27 now, but when I was that age I remember having times of sudden emotional change. It is probably just stress, which is normal and actually healty, as long as you learn how to deal with that. The thing I remember most though about my sadness etc..was that I was usually fine around my friends and would put a cover on a school..but at home with family was when I really let myself be a jerk or just feel the worst. There was one time though, that I actually went to doctors cuz I was having what I thought were heart palptations etc..and I was reallly really jumpy about everything...well I thought I was acting normal and fine in the office with the nurses and everything, and after they did an EKG (heart test)- and all was fine, they actually gave me a psychologists' card, and said "I seemed sad". I did have a lot going on at that time, but still, for total strangers to notice that scared me some. I never went, and eventually snapped out of it.....but you will just need to use your best judment to see if you need more help than just time. From time to time I still get sad and depressed feeling ,but it always goes away. Also, ya at your age, there is lots going on..your nearing driving age, school just up and started, and mabye just a couple of good girl friends nights out will loosen you up. Goodluck! One more thing...I would make myself cry, by listening to sad music, or a sad movie etc....and that actually helped me, seemed like I was dealing, and closing the book. Maybe find something that does that for you. Try reading a REALLY sad book maybe...one that is rivetingly sad and true...like...The boy name IT. Its so horrible, you can't help but feel a little better...and its hard to put down.

Yeah I think it is. I am 19 and can get like that (hormones are imbalanced due to problem), where I find that things can easily get on my nerves or I end up crying for small or unknown reasons; it is a common thing, but is a pain I know. If your 15, you could still be unbalanced due to puberty reasons, it's why they say it can take around 2 years (or so)for your periods to settle into a normal pattern and other stuff similar.
In terms of keeping hormones under control, I think really the thing to depend on is your lifestyle- it isn't a thing you can get drugs for say as it seems to just be your body settling down in terms of hormones, unless it is obvious that there is something else causing an imbalance, which only time can tell. I think the best thing to do, as you are unhappy, is to keep yourself happy, as daft as that may sound. When you go out, your getting exercise, which always helps relax and stay happier (due to hormones, lol). I would recommend also keeping to a healthy diet; if you eat loads of sugary things, you will suffer from the "sugar low" of feeling down, which is going to make you feel worse.
Take care and keep smiling!! x

Poor you. Yes, it's your age and your hormones. I'd hate to be a teenager again as life is full of angst. It's a boring old saying but you WILL grow out of it. Keep yourself busy and try and think happy thoughts to try and lift your spirits. If you think negatively it just makes you feel worse. With a bit of luck you'll be out of this stage by the time you're 17.

You really need to fill in your avatar because I can't tell your sex. I'm going to assume you are F.
I don't know that this is hormones, but if you want to check it out, you need to see an endocrinologist.
Sounds to me like depression. You'd need to visit a psychiatrist for help with your mood swings, crying, snapping, etc.
Don't let this continue. The longer it goes on, the harder it is to pull out of.
Information and lots of help on moods, hormones, anger and loneliness. www.nami.org. They can help you find a dr. or a counselor. There is someone in your location who can help.
Best wishes sweetheart.

That's hormones if I didn't see it myself. You can't keep them in control but what you can do is to just relax and do something that makes you happy. That always helped me to calm down when I am hormonal.

well go out with some of your friends to the cinema or bowling or something to cheer you up. Try talking to people how you feel and they might understand.

Male or female.
Either way - its a road we all have to travel. I suggest submerging yourself in school work or sports for the distraction.
