There are many.
Harry Potter is of course what many people will say.
I read some books from the Mates, Dates series and I thought they were really good (and funny too; really relates to a teen's life)
The Clique series
Just check out the teen section at a book store and you'll find a whole bunch of different types of books!

Try Libba Bray's series, which at the moment consists of the books "A Great and Terrible Beauty," which is first in the trilogy, and "Rebel Angels." I have just finished these myself, and am eagerly anticipating the release of the final installment, due December 26th. The series is somewhat Harry Potteresque, in the respects that it is about discovering magical abilities while at a boarding school, but the main character is a girl and it is set in Victorian England (1895). The heroine begins to see visions on her 16th birthday, and is sent to an all-girls' school, where she and her friends discover and rebuild an ancient and powerful society.
'Bad Girls' by Alex McAuley. It is about an undisciplined teenage girl who is sent to a wilderness survival camp by parents who hope to reform her wild ways. Things go badly astray during a hike through the jungle of the remote Caribbean island it is located on, and the heroine finds herself forming cliques and fighting for survival in the wilderness.
'Uglies,' 'Pretties,' and 'Specials' by Scott Westerfeld. The story follows a teenage girl named Tally who lives in a futuristic city where people are called Uglies until their sixteenth birthday, when they are given surgery to transform them into glamorous Pretties. The point of this operation is to stop wars and disagreements among people just because they look differently from each other, and it is later discovered that the operation gives people brain-damage, eliminating disputes, anger, unhappiness, or a desire to be different.
Another powerful book is 'Crank' by Ellen Hopkins. It is a semi-autobiographical verse novel chronicling the turbulent and often disturbing relationship between Kristina, a character based on Hopkins' own daughter, and the "monster," the highly addictive drug crystal meth, or "crank." While under the influence of the monster, Kristina discovers her sexy alter-ego, Bree, who will do all the things good girl Kristina won't.

Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. They're the best books I've ever read. I also liked His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman.
