well with this problem , is a graphing equation. the positive 3 in the equation your starting point on the y axis in a graph and the positive 4 is your slope. since its just a 4 , it becomes a fraction of 4 over 1 so you can use it as your slope. you move your point in the graph 4 times up and 1 point to your left. and then you connect them. hope i helped. =]

what r u trying to do with the equation?...if u r graphing it then all u hafta do is find points (0,3) (1,7) (-3,-9)...b/c this is already solved...i think
