He just stole his 20th base!
That makes him only the 3rd player in MLB history to have 20 HR's, 20 triples, 20 doubles, and 20 SB in a season.

Fans at the game gave him an standing ovation in honor!

Is he just simply awesome or what???

Easily my favorite Tiger. He and Cameron Maybin r my 2 favs. He probably is one of the best all round players. He can cover all 5 hitting categories (HR, RBI, Runs, SB, AVG) and he is a sperb fielder as well. Expect Cameron Maybin to be better than Granderson! Granderson is one of the most underrated players in the game. One thing I would like to see changed for him is his K's. A lead-off batter should not K that much but hey, nobody's perfect.

Yes, it is a great feat. What makes Granderson different from most players is that when he hits a ball to the gap or to the wall, he is thinking three bases, most players hit a ball there, then coast into second. There would be a lot more triples if guys ran hard out of the box like Granderson, although his speed helps a lot too.

Also his 20/20/20/20 season makes people forget that he has struck out 132 times this season, and has whiffed 306 times over the past two years. Curtis creates a great breeze, both with his speed and by swinging and missing!

That's good for him. Sizemore did something similar last year. It's a wonder they are always compared. Sizemore was the 2nd player ever(first since 1932)to get 25+ homers,50+ doubles,20+ steals, and 10+ triple in a season.

Aww G P, i've got been jocking Curtis when you consider that he has been interior the league. while he comes right here to Oakland i verify anybody sitting around me is knowledgeable on his qualifications. you spot the media would not provide him his purely due. no longer in user-friendly terms is he a jock on the sphere, yet he's a genuine all around cool dude. The kinda dude you need your daughter to deliver abode. that's how lots coolness i learn him. So he could be righteous.

What a class act he seems to be. Just a wonderful baseball player. A lot of us in Seattle would be so happy if he were here someday someday on our team. (Have you heard about our classy base stealer and hitter by the name of Ichiro?)

Aw, I feel happy whenever a player hits a milestone or does something great. This is one of those feel good moments in baseball, or sports in general. :)

Hats off to Granderson. I'm a Yankees fan, but I'll give him his dues. Whether you love him or hate him, he's putting on one hell of a show.
