There's a movie with Akon in it casting at the "house nightclub" from noon to 6 on the 28th

Open calls are by and large a waste. They are mostly for extras and non paying jobs. Scammers hold them also. When a major production holds them a lot of the time the person who actually is cast has gotten the job through more conventional means and the open call is a PR move. Besides, without a lot of training and experience you really don't stand a chance of getting any acting work. If you want to act you'll have to do it the way everyone else has. Get lots of training. Do lots of free theater. Learn how the business works. THEN you can start thinking about trying to get paid.
