This is no lie. Me and my husbands previous house was haunted! Our cutlery started going missing, first teaspoons and then it moved onto knives and forks. It was that strange i ended up asking my mum to look after our boxed solid silver dinner service. Also we both were woken up in the middle of the night and both at the same time saw a lady standing at the end of the bed, she was there for only a second or so. But she was definately there. Also there was always a wistling coming from up stairs.
It does not sound like much but it really happened and was that freaky we ended up moving.

I have had a couple of things happen at my house that I really can't explain. I am not sure really what to think about them.
I went into the kitchen one morning as I was getting ready. I have a jar that I keep candy and stuff in for the constant stream of friends that my daughter has running through the house. Anyway the jar sits on the bar, I was reaching up to get something out of the cabinet above it and the lid on the jar started jiggling on it. I looked down and it jiggled for a few more seconds then flew off the top of the jar and down onto the lower level of the bar. I looked at if for a second and picked it up and put it back on the jar. I then tried to hit it with my arm, which I know I didn't do but that didn't do anything, I jumped up and down, my house is on slab, that didn't do anything. I ran into the bar that didn't do anything. The jar rattled a little but nothing recreated it. I don't know why the jar lid did that.
A few months later my youngest and I were sitting in the family room which is attached to the kitchen. We had had pizza for dinner that night. I was finishing a program with her and then was going to put up the dinner stuff. The pizza was sitting on the bar. I had closed the box until I was ready to put things away. As we were sitting there the lid slowly started rising on the box and then flipped completely open. I sat there and watched it open really strange I wasn't sure how I could figure out how that happened.
A few nights later I was doing some work at home and was typing on my laptop in the family room. I had been to the store earlier and had a tube of tooth paste sitting on the bar and the thing just jumped off the bar. I usually blame the cat for things like that but it was sitting on my feet at the time so I know it wasn't him.
The last thing happened about about a month ago. My oldest and I were going to have a yard sale and she had come over to price some things and organize stuff for it. We decided to take a quick break. She was sitting on the couch flipping the channels on the tv while I sat in the floor and put some price tags on some things. I heard something behind me and turned my head. Behind me were two chairs and a small table between them. I wasn't leaning against either one. There was a mt dew can that my youngest had left on the table and the can was scooting backwards on the table. It moved about five inches. I turned and looked at my daughter, it was comical the expression on her face. I went over to the table and picked it to see if there was any condinsation on it. It was dry as a bone. I kind of rattled around the table shaking it and stuff. The can just fell over. I really don't know what to make of all of it.

Yes, Yes and Yes! I've been seeing & hearing ghosts since I was just 5 years old. My paranormal group does investigations for people who think they may have a ghost. We take recordings and photos. Some of us, like myself, are "sensitives", meaning we can tell you if there is a ghost present. If you feel you have a problem, you can try a search engine (Yahoo!'s is great!) for a paranormal group in your area. Good luck!

at Cypress Gardens there is an old mansion on the grounds that a few of the employees believe is haunted some won't even go in there alone..One day I was siting in the VIP room waiting for some others who worked there. When I had a strong feeling that I was no longer alone so strong that I began to talk...yes to an empty room...I never saw anything but the feeling that I was not alone was that strong..

My old house was haunted.... there was always a spookey quality to it and there were always the occasional odd noise and strange occurances but then I had one of the scariest experiences of my life..... I was in my playroom cleaning up i opened the window cause i was hot, and in the middle of my cleaning i had to go to the bathroom, when i returned the window was closed i thought this was odd but just figured the window had fallen, then the room started to get really cold and a music box started playing... i was scared and moved out of the room as i was walking away i passed the bathroom in which i saw a ghost of a little girl throwing towels all over my bathroom i ran down stairs to tell my parents, i led them to the bathroom but everything was back to normal, after hearing my experience i was shocked to know that my dad had also seen this ghost jumping on the foot of his bed in the middle of the night

It sounds to me like its attempting to get ur interest, making its prescence primary. i does not attempt and communicate with it, as u won't be in a position to verify of the character of the haunting. so a strategies, it hasn't truly completed something yet make u word it. It hasn't completed something propose, so basically attempt and circulate approximately ur organization. Ghosts r basically ppl, comparable in dying as they have been in existence. Ur dad will in all likelihood no longer have self belief till he reports some thing signifigant himself. i could be careful what u say in front of ur little sister, yet proceed to maintain ur persons as much as date. U might attempt to log it everytime there is an incident, time, date, ect, what occurred. it is going to help u to sense somewhat extra on top of problems with the area, and if it evr gets to a element the place u prefer an study completed, u gave information for them. solid success, attempt to no longer be afraid, remeber, it replaced into the ghosts residing house first, it basically lives there like u do

Unusual noises are created by weather in older houses which psychologically predispose one to thinking in the realm of hauntings.
Footsteps can logically be attributed to animals running across the roof or in between floors. A species as small as a mouse, even insects sometimes Can make quite a human noise if given the right acoustics.
As far as seeing a ghost, it goes back to being predisposed psychologically. If you are in the frame of mind that scary things are about, then you are pretty apt to see what you are expecting to see. A ghost.
The rest of ghost sightings are caused by hypnagogic hallucinations. Hypnopompic paralysis and REM atonia is normal paralysis associated with REM sleep. All condusive to seeing monsters and ghosts.
It is a slightly different type of paralysis as low levels of melatonin stops the depolarization current in the nerves, which prevents the stimulation of the muscles, thus, no movement in the body.
So This freaky type of paralysis coupled along with REM Halucination can give you ghosts especially if you assume your house to be haunted.

No, because there is a strange bubble I live in that negates all magic whenever I pass through.
Who was it that said a skeptic is a sure cure for a haunted house?
